G.L.U.E. is a step-by-step process that includes a spectrum of tools to aid faith communities in doing “ministry with” rather than “ministry to” people with disabilities.

GIVEs support to faith communities, enabling people with disabilities to participate in the different areas of congregational life throughout their lives.

Demonstrates God’s LOVE through the gifts that all God’s people have to share with one another.

Seeks ways to UNDERSTAND and ENCOURAGE one another as partners in ministry.

The G.L.U.E. process includes:

• Seeing ALL people as an important part of the body of Christ
• Appointing a coordinator
• Getting to know the person with a disability
• Sharing the vision of G.L.U.E. with a church congregation
• Developing a Church Inclusion Action Plan
• Training a support team for a specific person with a disability
