CLC Network offers online courses to middle school-aged students with unique academic talents and who have limited opportunity to work at a level that challenges their ability. We offer the following courses:
Online courses from CLC Network are perfect for students who perform at or above grade level and who are motivated toward maximum achievement. We offer self-screening prerequisites to help determine appropriateness for online learning at this level. Home Educating ParentsCLC Network online courses are collaborative tools for parents who home educate and who feel uncertain about teaching particular subject matter, and for busy parents who are not always available to instruct and to answer questions. Since complete instruction is provided online, you can be assured that your student’s individual needs are addressed. With the curriculum available 24/7, you have the flexibility of determining an appropriate pace and schedule of studying for your child.
CLC Network Parents Our courses are available for students whose school is unable to offer a course, or courses, at a level appropriate for a particular student (e.g. Geometry for 8th grade students). Our online courses are asynchronous, which means students do not need to be online at the same time to take the course, allowing students to work on the course when they are able. Our courses replace a course from student’s curriculum and our students usually work on the course when they would normally be scheduled for that class during the school day (e.g. during math class period).
Non-CLC Network Parents Parents whose students attend Non-CLC Network schools are encouraged to consider our online courses when looking for appropriate academic challenges for their students. CLC Network courses provide an excellent option for students who are underserved by typical grade level classes and for whom there exists limited options within their typical curricular offerings. CLC Network online courses provide academic challenges and engagement for students with academic talent from around the country.
