The Philosophy: “…People…Trust…Work…Truth…”

People:  From beginning to end, it’s about people. It’s about a son, a daughter, a mom, a dad, a teacher, a friend, a brother, a sister. From beginning to end, it involves a commitment to the infinite value of people and our commitment to respecting the people surrounding the student.  It’s about people committed to one another who are committed to a common goal of exceptional understanding and care for those individuals with whom we are privileged to work. It’s about students becoming aware of and able to describe their unique strengths...as they discover and build on who they are.

Trust:  Trust is a bedrock value for work with people.  Trust provides the foundation and freedom to express differing observations, question upon question, allowance for uncertainty, confidence in trying something more, something new.  Trust comes alive as the student experiences the unmistakable unconditional acceptance of adults.  Trust empowers people with the freedom to think, share, risk, misstep, and knit together diverse perspectives in “knowing a student most excellently” and planning for student success.  

Work:  The philosophy of CLC Network Evaluation Services prioritizes the value of work… the work of observing, listening, thinking, evaluating, talking and listening, questioning and adjusting, planning, rethinking, reviewing, retrying, waiting and trusting.

Truth:   CLC Network Evaluation Services staff embrace a commitment to the truth…truth that emerges through rigorous honesty, clear communication, respectful disagreement, humility of perspective, and openness to question(s).  Our commitment to the truth and accurate understanding is operational as we guide a process that searches for recurring themes in a student’s functioning… and a willingness to respectfully communicate the “truth” to the student, the parent(s) and school staff while remaining open to new truths that will emerge.
