The Inclusive Education Starter Kit is the right introductory tool to learn the basics of inclusive education, what it looks like in practice, and the details to improve it or make it a reality at your school. This kit includes:
- Any Questions? book – Answers to the most frequently asked questions about inclusion, including planning individual goals, the Biblical support for inclusive community, circle of friends and more.
- Nut & Bolts of Inclusive Education book – The how-to guide for effectively welcoming and educating children with Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities and more within the general education setting.
- Including Isaac DVD – An inspiring, short film on what an inclusion program looks like in practice. You will want to share this film with others to bring them on board.
- Autism and the Christian School DVD – A live in-service presentation on including persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder in your school by Barbara J. Newman.
To apply for a FREE Inclusive Education Starter Kit, please complete the application below. You must be an administrator or board member at your Christian or charter school to be eligible. You will be notified within 2-3 weeks after submission of the materials about the status of your grant. Supplies are limited. The Inclusive Education Starter Kit grant is only available for individuals and schools within North America.
